NovaEngine, our in-house FFmpeg decoder, taps into the full potential of your Apple TV setup.
TV guide and replay availability depend on the playlist. On tvOS, NovaEngine supports multichannel 5.1/7.1, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Surround depending on the received stream and your equipment. Support does not guarantee that every installation outputs each format. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, HDR and audio handling are managed by VLC or the native Apple player. The result depends on the playback engine, stream and equipment.
